Professional Services Engineer - Full-Time - Work From Home In The US

Support partners, customers, and internal staff worldwide by providing technical solutions, system installation, and support for enterprise software, with a focus on document delivery and content management.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $130,000–$150,000

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct software system testing and validation procedures.
• Evaluate hardware configuration factors such as performance requirements, cost constraints, and availability.
• Guide and perform installation, support diagnostics, and deployment of solutions.
• Store, retrieve, and analyze data for software capabilities and requirements.
• Advise customers on maintenance of software and system components.
• Consult with customers and departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and update problem tracking systems.
• Demonstrate products and solutions to prospective customers.
• Train or advise users on new or modified software components.
• Contribute ideas for marketing, new products, and system improvements.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, and internal teams on software specifications and limitations.
• Evaluate software and system failures, develop specifications, and resolve customer problems.

Requirements

• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and clients.
• Strong leadership and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Operating Systems, MS Office, Internet Browsers, Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to learn new software applications and stay current with technology.
• Excellent computer application skills (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-directed with planning skills to meet sales activities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across time zones.
• Excellent communication, time management, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to document business requirements and translate to technical solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Knowledge of ECM Archive solutions (CMOD, Filenet, Mobius, EOS).
• Knowledge of formatted print streams (AFP, Xerox, PDF, Postscript, PCL).
• Scripting languages (Python, REXX, VB) a plus.
• Database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server) a plus.
• Programming languages (Java, .NET, C++) a plus.
