Professional Services Engineer

The Professional Services Engineer at Aidoc is responsible for deploying and integrating AI healthcare solutions into customer environments, working closely with implementation teams and clients to ensure seamless interoperability and long-term success.

Location: Remote (Global)

Responsibilities

  • Architecture Design: Tailor solution architectures to fit unique customer environments, ensuring seamless integration with hospital IT and clinical workflows.
  • Customized Setup Support: Assist with advanced configurations and non-standard implementations to meet specific customer needs.
  • Technical Escalation Point: Serve as the go-to expert for Implementation Managers, troubleshooting complex technical challenges and providing solutions.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Continuously enhance internal documentation, best practices, and knowledge-sharing resources.
  • Tools & Automation Development: Create and refine tools that streamline implementation processes and improve efficiency for the team.
  • Product Improvement Insights: Identify recurring challenges and customer feedback and collaborate with Product teams to drive enhancements and innovation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in IT, professional services, or technical implementation roles.
  • Strong background in system architecture, integrations, and interoperability: cloud-based solutions, infrastructure, APIs, scripting, and automation tools.
  • Experience in healthcare environments is a plus (e.g., PACS, RIS, EMR, DICOM, HL7, FHIR).
  • Ability to design and implement customized, scalable solutions for diverse customer Environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, acting as an escalation point for complex technical challenges.
  • Experience developing internal tools and processes to improve implementation efficiency.
  • Strong ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams, including radiology, IT, and operations.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fully-remote environment, collaborating with people from different cultures, locations and time zones.
  • Ability to lead customer-facing meetings/calls and handle written communications.
  • Excellent documentation skills for internal knowledge-sharing and process improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications in healthcare IT standards, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture are a plus.
