Pre-Certification Coordinator - Neurology

The role involves obtaining prior authorizations for medications, infusions, and ancillary tests by interacting with third-party payers, ensuring coverage and supporting patient care.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $42,786 – $64,147

Responsibilities

• Contacts insurance companies for authorization for medications, infusions, and ancillary testing.
• Ensures all necessary authorizations are received and documented in Epic.
• Acts as liaison between internal & external customers including patients, families, healthcare professionals, and staff.
• Counsels patients and families on pre-certification or prior-authorization process, answers questions, and provides updates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Office Setting experience (2 years).
