Power BI Systems Administrator

This role involves providing Systems Administration support, managing servers, troubleshooting, and ensuring system functionality for an organization. The candidate will support development, test, and production environments, and assist users with technical guidance.

Location: Eastern Time Zone

Responsibilities

• Provides Systems Administration support for an organization, functional unit or line of business.
• Administers development, test and production servers, including reloading, re-imaging and debugging problems.
• Installs, removes and upgrades software packages on test, development and production servers.
• Performs daily monitoring of network systems, independently initiating proactive measures to ensure functionality, connectivity and load balance.
• Troubleshoots systems and host environments, identifying and resolving faults, inconsistencies and systemic issues.
• Evaluates, recommends and implements solutions to ensure systems functionality and compliance with company standards.
• Provides network and systems evaluation and operational reports.
• Updates systems record and ensures maintenance of accurate information.
• Ensures computer programs in company use are properly licensed, adhere to company standards and are operational and functional.
• Assists systems users by creating instructional how-to guides and by providing technical information and training.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

• Candidate must reside in Eastern Time Zone.
• Working hours are 5:30 AM EST - 2:30 PM EST.
• Role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology, requiring eligibility for U.S. Government authorizations.
