Manager, SAP Financial Systems (FI/CO)

The role is for an experienced SAP Finance (FI/CO) Functional Analyst to support and optimize SAP financial modules within RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company. The position involves providing support, configuring solutions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Location: US-CT-REMOTE

Salary: $107,500–$204,500/yr

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, day-to-day SAP production support to meet business needs and ensure system efficiency.
• Deliver solutions that meet customer requirements, adhere to SLAs, and comply with regulations such as GAAP, CAS, FAR, and SOX.
• Support business processes and align them with SAP system requirements across multiple modules.
• Work with a broad user base to support system change requirements, develop functional specifications, and ensure project execution.
• Provide expertise throughout the SAP FI-CO lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
• Monitor deliverables, respond to ad-hoc requests, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Typically a minimum of 8+ years’ experience supporting or using financial software applications and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science (STEM) or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP FI and CO modules, with knowledge of PS, MM, SD, and HR modules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience across the IT lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, configuration, testing, and system optimization.
• Working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards, FAR, GAAP, and SOX.
