Manager, Remote Accounting Services (Part Time)

An experienced accounting manager role focused on team leadership, client service, and operational management in a remote, part-time setting, supporting a cloud-based organization.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $40—$45 USD per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to clients.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in technologies to deliver outstanding quality service.
• Oversee client onboarding process for all assigned client engagements.
• Implement technology tools on client engagements to drive efficiency and value.
• Serve as a resource to team members for client tasks and issues.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives.
• Support clients’ evolving requirements by educating them on company services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 10 Years of related accounting experience.
• 4 years of hands-on management experience including hiring, training, and developing a team.
• Capacity and commitment to work 30-35 hours per week during daytime hours.
• Proven ability to attract, build, and retain a high-performance team.
• Experience in developing strong remote team relationships.
• Commitment to following company policies and procedures.
• Confidence in learning and embracing new technology including QuickBooks, Bill.com, Microsoft Office, Outlook, HubDoc.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Commitment to confidentiality with client data.
