Manager Pharmacy Revenue Recognition

Responsible for management and oversight of the valuation of receivables and revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP for Geisinger's Clinical Enterprise and GCSOM. Provides revenue analytics and financial reporting, facilitates audits, and supports regulatory reporting.

Location: Work from home (Pennsylvania)

Responsibilities

• Plans, supervises and oversees assigned monthly AR valuation processes.
• Participates in review and approval of pricing changes to clinical enterprise CDM.
• Collaborates with Revenue Management, IT, and other teams on AR valuation.
• Collaborates with Third Party Contracting/Contract Management team on receivables valuation.
• Oversees monthly revenue trend analytics.
• Provides advisory services, analysis, and presentation materials.
• Collaborates with Finance Partners to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
• Supports regulatory reporting including third-party cost reports and Form 990.
• Monitors and achieves KPIs related to Coding Improvement (CDI) program.
• Collaborates on revenue forecasts with Reimbursement team.
• Ensures consistent revenue and statistics reporting with FP&A team.
• Builds and maintains relationships across Geisinger for accurate financial reporting.
• Reviews work of direct reports, provides guidance, training, and performance appraisals.
• Manages workflow and workload within the department.
• Coordinates interview process and candidate selection for certain positions.
• Resolves conflicts within the team and ensures policy adherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 4 years managerial/supervisory experience
• Minimum of 6 years related work experience
