Manager API Services

Lead the API Services development team to ensure the successful delivery, enhancement, and maintenance of high-quality APIs for C1's internal software applications, focusing on API design, standards, and scalable solutions.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $135,000 - $145,000

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the API services software development team
• Oversees the design, development, and delivery of high-quality APIs
• Ensures the maintenance, enhancement, and performance of existing APIs
• Collaborates with Application Administrators and PMO on API integration, help desk resolution, and delivery
• Establishes and enforces API development standards and best practices
• Manages team performance, including hiring, mentoring, and performance reviews
• Participates in road mapping, budgeting, and other forecasting tools
• Stays current with API technologies and industry trends
• Ensures that teams have appropriate solutions and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver solutions effectively
• Gains a thorough technical understanding of current software applications
• Researches, analyzes, and recommends new technologies and processes
• Contributes to software upgrades, build/buy decisions, and testing phases
• Participates in release/sprint planning and scrum meetings
• Provides Tier III/IV support for production issues
• Collaborates on hardware requirements for software performance
• Establishes and maintains documentation standards
• Ensures adherence to SOC2 controls
• Manages own work to meet timelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of software development experience with ASP.NET and VB.net or C#.net OR 8+ years managing a software development team
• 5+ years of experience with SQL 2008 and above
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
