Harris Computer is seeking a Junior AI Specialist to support AI and machine learning projects, ideal for recent graduates eager to start their careers in AI and ML within a global software organization.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

Support the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and AI models
Assist in building intelligent features into enterprise software products
Work with technologies such as Python, ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch), and APIs
Prepare, clean, and analyse datasets to support model training and evaluation
Work with structured and unstructured data from various sources
Contribute to data pipelines and feature engineering
Stay up to date with emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices
Contribute to internal innovation initiatives and AI-driven improvements
Explore opportunities to apply generative AI, automation, and predictive analytics
Work alongside software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders
Contribute to agile development processes and project delivery
Document solutions and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, or a related field
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
Strong foundational knowledge of: Machine Learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation)
Programming (preferably Python)
Basic understanding of software development principles
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
