The IC3 Remote Operations Specialist at Hitachi Vantara is responsible for remote customer support functions, including data management, health checking, microcode management, and configuration activities, to ensure optimal operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Supporting remote customer support activities including data collection, management, and analysis of diagnostic data.
- Scheduling and deploying remote microcode upgrades.
- Conducting remote health checks and liaising with customers and partners.
- Supporting customer engineers and partners remotely.
- Supporting Hitachi Remote Operations (HRO) functions and escalations.
- Data collection, management, and initial analysis of diagnostic data.
- Escalating cases to specialist teams when necessary.
- Documenting technical problems and solutions for the Knowledge Base.
- Maintaining service levels and escalating issues as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in customer support roles.
- Excellent customer service, communication, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple issues.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and quick learner.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, or standby shifts.
