Full Stack Senior Software Developer

Full Stack Senior Software Developer needed to work on platform projects for Paidiem, focusing on product development, solution architecture, and design across the entire system.

Location: Canada

Responsibilities

• Provide insight, estimates, and analysis to support product feature scoping, requirements, and development.
• Collaborate with developers to establish and maintain coding standards and guidelines.
• Support existing infrastructure and design new technologies for ongoing delivery.
• Build solutions matching visual design and specified features with minimal rework.
• Develop platform using coding best practices to maintain or improve quality.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve issues.
• Create and deploy efficient code following company practices.
• Maintain application security at all layers.
• Seek out new tools, technologies, and solutions to improve platform resilience, security, scalability, and efficiency.
• Participate in industry events, webinars, and networking.
• Perform code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions.

Requirements

• Education in computer sciences, mathematics, engineering or related field.
• At least 8+ years of experience in software design and development, focusing on SaaS web apps.
• Minimum 5 years of expert-level experience as a Full Stack Web Developer with Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Express.
• Experience with tech startups, SaaS, or Financial services industry.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to write efficient, maintainable code.
• Experience building in a continuous delivery pipeline using GitLab, AWS, and microservice architecture.
• Highly collaborative team player familiar with SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
• Provide technical support for incidents and outages.
