LanguageLine Solutions is hiring remote bilingual Fulani-English phone interpreters to provide interpretation services across various industries, including healthcare, government, and legal sectors. The role involves handling on-demand calls, ensuring accurate and culturally sensitive communication, and working from home.

Location: United States

Salary: $0.70 - $0.85 per minute

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and professionally.
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to interpretation protocol.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation.
• Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
• Remain calm and professional during emotional or stressful calls.
• Follow client instructions and industry-specific protocols.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and neutrality.

Requirements

• Fluency in Fulani and English.
• Ability to assess regional and accent differences.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to stay neutral and objective, even with sensitive subjects.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to read and write in Fulani and English (highly preferred).
• Must have a dedicated device and high-speed internet.
• Must be able to operate a keyboard and mouse, lift up to 26 lbs, and remain in a stationary position.
