Freelance Subtitle Translator/QC, SDH/CC

Keywords Studios is seeking freelance subtitle translation and localization experts to join their global network. The role involves adapting scripts, reviewing subtitles, and creating accessible subtitle content for the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Connect with talented professionals for roles such as Subtitle Translators, QCers, SDH Linguists, and Template Linguists.
• Upload CV in English with detailed subtitling experience for future freelance opportunities.

Requirements

• Native proficiency of the target language.
• Strong command of the source language.
• Experience in localization QC, audiovisual translation, or subtitling.
• Experience with subtitle editing software and web/cloud technology.
• Deep understanding of closed captioning and subtitling technical challenges.
• Understanding of nuances in subtitle and dub translations.
• Knowledge of cultural differences and best practices for subtitles and dub audio.
• University degree or equivalent professional experience in translation.
• Ability to adapt to workflow/process changes.
• Attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, analytical skills, and multitasking.
