Field Data Specialist - Travel Position

This role involves independent data collection and property surveying for commercial real estate, requiring travel and outdoor work. Ideal for candidates experienced in mapping, inspections, or land surveying who enjoy autonomy and technology.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $24–$27/hour (based on experience and location)

Responsibilities

• Drive or fly to commercial properties to capture precise data using advanced measurement tools and software.
• Document building measurements, sprinkler and HVAC locations, windows, signage, landscaping, utility meters, dumpsters, parking details, and interior/exterior features.
• Input data accurately and efficiently, communicate with property managers for access and scheduling.

Requirements

• Experience in site surveys, inspections, CAD, GIS mapping, or data entry.
• Background in construction, HVAC, electrical, or similar fields.
• Experience in land surveying, utility locating, archaeology, drone photography, or remote fieldwork.
• Ability to travel out of state Monday–Friday, work outdoors in all weather conditions, climb ladders up to 30 feet, lift up to 50 lbs, and use technology confidently.
