The company is seeking a Java Developer specialized in low-platform development to join their agile team, working on a comprehensive software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment, in a remote setting in Espírito Santo, Brazil.

Location: Remote Espírito Santo Brazil

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, following agile methodologies.
• Build and develop software components, perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and requirements gathering.
• Ensure quality and maintainability of software through multidisciplinary activities including configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Manage own workload and communicate delays or impediments to the team.
• Guide and support other developers in the team.
• Code and integrate software components according to technical specifications using designated tools, languages, and libraries.
• Identify, build, and test software components to ensure quality.
• Perform evolutionary or corrective maintenance on software components.
• Create technical documentation as per contractual requirements.
• Integrate components with others developed by team members using the designated integration tools.
• Set up and configure local development environments as per project needs.
• Provide support to the IT team and clients regarding software features and specifics.
• Conduct testing and integration in client environments to ensure full functionality.
• Monitor software approval and deployment processes at client sites.
• Train clients on the software to ensure proper operation.
• Understand information systems through experimentation and observation, and refactor legacy web systems.

Requirements

• Graduation in Information Technology or any higher education with a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology (minimum 360 hours).
• Experience of at least 3 years in distributed systems development using Java stack.
• Knowledge of Java SE 8+, Java EE, Spring Framework 3.x+, Microprofile, JPA, JDBC, Hibernate, SQL, Design Patterns, MVC, 3-tier architecture, RESTful APIs, SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI, application servers (WebSphere, Liberty, JBoss/WildFly, Quarkus), Jenkins, Git, Maven, SonarQube, JUnit, TDD, ATDD, MQ Series.
