DeFi Engineer

Ergonia is a crypto-native trading firm specializing in DeFi and CeFi, operating sophisticated trading systems across various platforms, including market making, yield strategies, and on-chain execution.

Location: United States

Salary: $150k–$280k

Responsibilities

• Build systems to read high-volume, low-latency data from blockchains.
• Send and manage transactions in performance-sensitive environments.
• Design, implement, and deploy production smart contracts on Solana or EVM environments.
• Contribute to end-to-end exchange, execution, and data-pipeline architecture.
• Make decisions with imperfect information, handle trade-offs, and deliver working systems on tight timelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development.
• 2+ years working in DeFi.
• Proven delivery of production-ready DeFi systems on Solana or EVM.
• Strong understanding of DeFi mechanics, trading systems, spot/margin trading, and on-chain execution.
• Self-driven, highly motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication skills in English.
