Data Warehouse Support Specialist

The role involves supporting and maintaining a Data Warehouse environment for a banking sector client, focusing on troubleshooting, incident resolution, and process improvement.

Location: Remote (EU)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the Production Data Warehouse environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, data loads, and performance bottlenecks
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth operations and incident resolution
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and recurring issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of support and maintenance processes

Requirements

• Relational Database development experience in Oracle, Sybase IQ, or MS SQL Server
• Experience and understanding of Data Warehouse architecture, ETL principles
• Very good knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting production workloads under time constraints is considered an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, mathematics, or physics
• Fluent English
