Custodian

Full-Time Custodian responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, event setup, and facility management at St. John's Farmers' Market.

Location: In person

Salary: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the building and grounds, including regular cleaning.
• Support and supervise other cleaning staff by providing direction on priorities and best practices.
• Help set up and tear down for events and markets.
• Provide minor maintenance of the building and routinely check for facilities concerns.
• Maintain OHS and Food Safety standards.

Requirements

• Able to work every weekend, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Work with minimal supervision and manage ongoing cleaning.
• Familiarity with maintenance and upkeep of commercial spaces.
• Capable of physical work such as cleaning, lifting, and setting up spaces.
• Able to lift or move up to 40 pounds.
• Comfortable guiding support staff.
• Outgoing, friendly, and flexible in a diverse environment.

Benefits
