Clinical Services Pharmacy Technician

The Clinical Services Pharmacy Technician role involves handling patient, pharmacy, and provider calls, performing administrative and operational tasks, and supporting medication research and management programs. It is suitable for candidates with pharmacy technician experience and strong computer skills, working under supervision within established guidelines.

Location: Ohio

Salary: $40,000 - $52,300 per year

Responsibilities

• Intake calls from patients, pharmacies, and providers.
• Perform administrative, clerical, operational, customer support, and computational tasks.
• Address questions related to specific assigned areas and assist with medication research.
• Evaluate calls requiring consultation with a pharmacist.
• Make outbound calls to patients to offer medication therapy management programs.
• Schedule medication review sessions with pharmacists.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy Technician or Tech in Training license in Ohio.
• Technical Mail Order Pharmacy or Manufacturing experience.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or call center experience in a pharmacy or related setting.
• Experience using multiple computer applications and strong data entry skills.

Additional Information

• Remote position with occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings.
• Must reside in Ohio.
• Work schedule: 10:30am - 7:00pm EST Monday-Friday, with every 3rd Saturday 10:00am - 6:30pm EST.
• Sign-on bonus of $1,500, payable in two installments.
