Responsibilities

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, including key executives and end-users.
  • Develop understanding of client goals, requirements, and challenges, ensuring account retention.
  • Provide strategic oversight during client journey, including implementation, adoption, and renewal.
  • Develop success plans with clients, including objectives, timelines, and metrics.
  • Consult on high-stakes reporting deliverables such as Quarterly Board Packages and Investment Committee reviews.
  • Drive adoption and educate clients on new features and software enhancements.
  • Discuss opportunities for Addepar services and solutions to influence outcomes.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and participate in proposals.
  • Translate complex client requirements into product roadmap features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in client-facing, client success, or strategy roles, preferably within Institutional Asset Management (OCIO, Endowment, Foundation, Pension, Family Office).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • CFA, CAIA, or CIPM designation is a plus.
  • Experience translating business needs into technical solutions, ideally with a technical product.
  • Strong analytical skills and disciplined process approach.
  • Knowledge of technology that engages R&D teams and clients up to executive level.
  • Familiarity with institutional performance reporting, attribution analysis, and risk metrics.
  • Deep understanding of multi-asset class portfolios, especially Alternative Investments.
  • Experience as a consultant, strategist, pre-sales, or technical account manager.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Experience leading large projects at institutional firms.
  • Handling difficult clients and achieving successful resolutions.
  • Strong communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Collaborative team player with cross-functional work experience.
  • Ability to navigate data and people effectively.
  • Independent, adaptable, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to travel.
