Care Support Coordinator (Temporary)

Spring Health is seeking a Temporary Care Support Coordinator to provide non-clinical support to members and providers, ensuring high satisfaction through inbound and outbound communication. The role involves managing care coordination tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $20.51 - $25.64 per hour

Responsibilities

• Supporting telephonic support to members and providers for approximately 7 hours daily.
• Providing flexibility to support fluctuating work volume.
• De-escalating situations by actively listening and adopting a solution-focused approach.
• Providing timely support via phone and email, maintaining accurate records.
• Managing care coordination tasks such as maintaining charts, rescheduling, and facilitating documentation.
• Troubleshooting technical issues submitted by members and providers.
• Communicating sensitive information empathetically.
• Serving as a compassionate advocate for clients.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to improve processes and service experiences.

Requirements

• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Experience working with diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Proven experience handling sensitive information or supporting individuals in distress.
• Strong empathetic listening skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Understanding of confidentiality and privacy regulations.
• Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
• Technical proficiency, including troubleshooting and guiding effectively.
• Private work environment for data privacy.
• Experience with Jira, Zendesk, or other ticketing systems (preferred).
• Experience in phone support roles with sensitive health information (preferred).
• Experience in healthcare/health tech (preferred).

Additional Information

• This is a temporary position with potential to extend or become full-time.
• Shift flexibility required, including working at least 1 weekend per month and 4 holidays per year.
• Shift options include various EST hours, with confirmation upon offer.
