Blue Yonder Domain Architect – Remote United States

The role of Domain Architect involves engaging stakeholders, providing technical expertise, and developing high-level solutions within a corporate IT environment. The position is remote and focuses on aligning technical solutions with business needs, standards, and architecture principles.

Salary: $110,600–$178,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Translate business domain understanding and context to technical capabilities for technical architects and development teams.
• Collaborate with business relationship managers and stakeholders to understand requirements, identify gaps, and define solutions.
• Research market options and approve Make vs Buy decisions.
• Document high-level design of solutions.
• Define effort and skills required for implementation.
• Manage work scope and changes during solution implementation.
• Conduct application scans and risk reviews to ensure privacy, security, and risk policies are met.
• Examine current systems architecture and recommend improvements.
• Guide on leveraging technology to solve business problems.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture to shape standards, guardrails, and patterns.
• Align solutions with Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and frameworks.
• Work with outside partners to meet requirements.
