Base Optimization Specialist

Airtable is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead enterprise client engagements, focusing on designing and implementing solutions that transform organizational workflows by integrating human and agentic systems, leveraging AI tools, and managing organizational complexity.

Salary: $153,000—$199,800 USD (remote and other locations), $170,000—$221,500 USD (San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York)

Responsibilities

• Push to recommendations faster by shaping direction and identifying necessary business process changes.
• Recommend changes beyond the platform, including process redesign and workflow management.
• Design end-to-end solutions translating enterprise workflows into architectures with human and agent collaboration.
• Identify leverage points in agentic workflows and design reliable handoffs.
• Navigate organizational complexity by building coalitions, managing stakeholders, and finding internal champions.
• Create reusable solution patterns and reference architectures to extend impact.
• Stay involved through delivery, adapt designs as customer needs evolve, and hold accountability for implementation.

Requirements

• Experience with AI tools and designing agentic workflows, including model selection, prompt architecture, and human-in-the-loop oversight.
• Background in business process transformation and leading organizational change engagements.
• 7+ years in client-facing delivery, consulting, or enterprise transformation, with experience engaging with VP and C-suite levels.
• Professional services or management consulting experience, with accountability for outcomes.
• Strong communication skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Ability to identify unspoken client needs and provide strategic guidance.
• Experience with enterprise-scale environments, including multi-business units, compliance, and security requirements.
