Backend Developer / Full Stack

Backend developer role focused on designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions within financial platforms and mobile apps, with a strong emphasis on microservice architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies.

Location: New Zealand

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and unit testing of software applications, APIs, and services in line with architecture standards and engineering best practices across financial platforms and mobile apps.

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise across the full technology stack, with a particular focus on backend development.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated testing and governance.
• In-depth knowledge of microservice architectures and distributed system design patterns.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers.
