Automation Framework Engineer (Architect-Level)

Seeking an Automation Framework Engineer (Architect-Level) to design and own next-generation test automation ecosystem, integrating AI-driven testing, scalable frameworks, and enterprise DevOps tooling.

Location: Colombia

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable UI automation frameworks (Playwright primary, Selenium legacy)
• Integrate automation into Azure DevOps (pipelines, test plans, traceability)
• Design AI-driven testing solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, Claude + Azure DevOps
• Build reusable API testing frameworks (Postman, GraphQL, PactumJS)
• Enable CI/CD orchestration, reporting, and quality insights
• Implement logging, observability, and failure analytics
• Support document-heavy workflows (compliance, disclosures, OCR validation)

Requirements

• Strong skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks at scale
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium
• Deep understanding of AI-driven testing approaches
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially Azure DevOps
• Experience working with distributed systems and integrations
• Architect-level thinking: ability to define strategy, not just implement
