Application Engineer - Logistics & Mobility (F/M/D) (Home-Office / Remote)

The role involves analyzing, developing, and supporting application solutions in logistics automation, supporting market launches, providing technical support, conducting training, and acting as an interface to customers and partners. It is suitable for candidates with a background in electrical engineering or computer science, with some experience or motivation to learn in logistics automation.

Location: Central/Eastern Germany – Home Office

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop application solutions in the field of logistics automation
  • Support the market launch of new products, solutions, and services
  • Provide technical support and on-site project management
  • Conduct technical training sessions
  • Develop and support customer solutions in collaboration with partner companies
  • Act as an interface to internal and external customers, suppliers, and international subsidiaries

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification
  • Initial experience in logistics automation is an advantage; motivated graduates are welcome
  • Knowledge of technical commissioning is desirable
  • Experience with 2D/3D machine vision applications is a plus
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Confident and assertive personality with a customer- and solution-oriented approach
  • Willingness to travel internationally
