Responsibilities
- Scout for vendor partners in NE & EU who can manufacture high quality Women's Woven Top products with fast production lead time
- Pitching and on-boarding vendor partners in speed with clear criteria around the initial test period and scalability
- Drive excellence in partner operations for existing supplier relationships and expand supplier base to improve product costs, quality, and commercial terms
- Manage capacity at a supplier and style level to keep pace with company growth and scale
- Resource in speed any materials that can effectively improve product cost, quality, and speed, negotiating with suppliers from T1 to T3 mill/vendor partners
- Have open costing expertise to build a clear strategy for costing negotiations and construct a validated cost structure
- Act as an ambassador to partners, building and deepening relationships, and driving continuous improvement
- Drive higher hit-rate launches through product excellence and faster development times by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions
- Have a strategic, commercial understanding of the sourcing landscape for the USA, Canada, and Europe to improve product costs and speed to market
- Lead across diverse stakeholders and be willing to improve processes and SOPs for faster speed and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of sourcing and merchandising experience in Women’s apparel, specifically in Women’s Woven Tops, with high-end national brands in the US & Europe.
- Consumer-focused, strategic leader with confidence, pride, and passion.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Strong analytical skills focused on execution, process improvement, and brand enhancement.
- Proactive learner with an open attitude to new perspectives.
- Good track record in supply chain management or operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Resilient under pressure and bold in challenging the status quo.
